

Govt. of India decided to upgrade 100 ITIs in the country in to “Centre of
Excellence” in the first phase in the FY 2005-2006 through
domestic resources and 400 ITIs through World Bank Assistance.
I.T.I. Ahwa
is selected into “Trade Up gradation” for
“Automobile Sector” .
These centers will be providing
“Multiskill
Training”
to meet the skill requirement of
particular sector of industry with the active involvement of the
industry in all aspects of training.
Training
in Broad Based Basic Training in Basic Skill Areas for a period of one
year.
The testing and
certification for the basic skill training during first year and also
for advanced training during next six months will be conducted by NCVT
(National Council for Vocational Training).
